Rates vary according to zone and severity of conflict, with Zone A representing very “hot” areas experiencing armed conflict between 2 or more countries or political factions within a country, or any political region which is considered to be very volatile. Afghanistan, Iraq, Mali and North Korea are just a few examples of Zone A countries.
