Movember 2024

Movember is a global movement dedicated to improving men's health by raising awareness and funding for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Men often ignore health issues until they become critical, and Movember aims to change that by encouraging early detection and open conversations.

Did you know:

  • Across Canada, more than 217,000 men are living with and beyond prostate cancer,1 with roughly 28,000 men to be diagnosed in 2024.2
  • With a survival rate of over 95%, testicular cancer outcomes are positive – but for some men, long-term treatment-related side effects mean quality of life is compromised.3
  • Worldwide, one man commits suicide every minute.4

By supporting Movember, we can create a culture where men prioritize their health and feel empowered to seek help when they need it. We’ve compiled a list of resources focused on mental health and crisis support, cancer prevention and support, health and wellness, and insurance options - see below to learn more.
